1. Who we are
Accountris is a software-as-a-service product operated by TECHTRIS PRIVATE LIMITED, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Maldives, with its registered office at Ma. Heboodhooge, Nikagas Magu, Male City, Maldives ("Techtris", "we", "us", "our"). In these Terms, "you" means the individual or entity that registers an Accountris account.
2. The service
Accountris provides cloud-based accounting and invoicing software, including invoice creation, payment tracking, bank reconciliation, general ledger, and reporting features (the "Service"). The specific features available to you depend on the plan you subscribe to.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at sales@techtris.mv if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscription & payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as shown at checkout. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; local bank transfers in MVR are also accepted where offered. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another customer's data, (c) reverse engineer or copy the Service, or (d) use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or content that infringes a third party's rights.
6. Your data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. You grant Techtris a limited licence to host, process, and back up your data solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Techtris and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, design, and documentation. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that intellectual property to you, except for the limited right to use the Service during your subscription.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform planned maintenance and will provide advance notice where practical.
9. Suspension & termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees due, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other customers or to Techtris. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period, after which we may delete it.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Accountris is a software tool; it is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying that your books, tax filings, and reports comply with applicable Maldivian law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techtris's total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Maldives.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
